Residential Care Communities
Your residents will be fully engaged and have fun while they work on cognitive, physical and social goals. The music therapist brings live music, instruments for everyone, and faciliates a througougly interactive hour for all involved. Documentation is provided following each session.

Assisted Living Groups
Higher-level cognitive challenges, functional movement, and learning are common goals during these popular groups. Your residents will want to be a part of this!
Memory Care Groups
To the casual observer, it looks like a lot of fun! Dig a little deeper, and you'll notice there is a lot of cognitice, physical and social involvement going on. Our memory care groups are one hour long and keep everyone engaged. We use live and recorded music, instruments and rhythms, and make personal connections with each person in the group.

Sensory Groups
Small groups (2-5) are designed for those farther along in their disease progression and who cannot successfully engage in a larger group experience. These smaller groups allow the MT-BC to meet individual needs including sensory stimulation and hand on hand assistance for adapted instruments.

Care Homes
Your caregivers and residents will look forward to their music therapy sessions! Similar to residential care communities, we visit your care home and bring everything needed for a social musical experience. As in all of our session, we include population-specific music, cognitive goals, functional movement goals, interpersonal connections and instrument play by the participants. Depending on the size and needs of the care home, a group or mini-sessions may be more beneficial for residents.

Mini-sessions
15-20 minute sessions for people residing in care communities that may be bed-bound or who do not wish to participate in group activities. Referrals are made by facility staff according to need. Mini sessions focus on addressing immediate needs in a short time-frame. One-hour time blocks allow the MT-BC to visit 3 or more people in the building.
